How we chose these tools

We compared each real estate CRM on IDX/MLS integration depth, lead routing flexibility, drip campaign automation, transaction management, mobile experience, and published pricing across tiers. We cross-referenced recurring themes in G2, Capterra, and The Close reviews, verified pricing directly with vendor pages or third-party breakdowns in August 2026, and tested each tool’s lead capture and follow-up workflows. Pricing was verified in August 2026. All G2 ratings cited were pulled from search results on August 9, 2026.

What's great

  • 200+ lead source integrations (Zillow, Realtor.com, Sierra Interactive, Google, Facebook), the broadest in the real estate CRM category
  • Lead routing is the strongest in this list, supports round-robin, zip code, price range, first-to-claim, and MLS area assignment
  • Contact management scored 9.5 on G2 category benchmarks, the highest in this shortlist

Watch-outs

  • No built-in transaction management, you need a separate tool like Dotloop or SkySlope for contract-to-close
  • Built-in dialer costs an extra $33/user/mo on the Grow tier, not included at the entry price
  • No IDX website included, Follow Up Boss is CRM-only, pair it with a separate IDX provider
Follow Up Boss is the CRM that real estate teams with existing lead sources keep coming back to. It does not try to be a website builder or ad platform. It routes leads from 200+ sources, automates follow-up, and stays out of the way. 115 G2 reviews average 4.6/5, with contact management and automation scoring 9.0+. The gap is transaction management, which means a second subscription for contract-to-close workflows. For teams already spending on Zillow Premier Agent or Realtor.com leads, Follow Up Boss is the fastest way to make sure those leads actually get called.

Best all-in-one platform for large brokerages

What's great

  • True all-in-one platform, IDX websites, CRM, lead gen, marketing automation, dialer, and transaction management in a single login
  • IDX connects to 600+ MLSs across the US and Canada, broadest MLS coverage in this list
  • AI-powered behavioral lead scoring adjusts messaging based on what leads are actually doing on your site

Watch-outs

  • Steep learning curve, agents report needing 2-4 weeks before the system feels comfortable
  • Pricing is completely opaque, no published tiers, must sit through a sales demo to learn the cost
  • Reported glitches and slow page loads, particularly on the IDX website side
kvCORE (rebranding to BoldTrail under Inside Real Estate) is the platform play for brokerages that want everything under one roof. 600+ MLS connections, IDX websites, smart campaigns, behavioral AI, built-in dialer, transaction management. The trade-off is complexity. Agents who just want to call leads and log notes will find this overwhelming. But for a 50-agent brokerage that wants to standardize lead gen, follow-up, and reporting across the entire operation, kvCORE is one of the few platforms that can actually do it. Third-party estimates put solo agent plans around $499/mo, with per-agent costs dropping below $25/mo at scale for large teams.

Best affordable CRM with video texting

What's great

  • Only CRM in this list with built-in video email and video texting, a genuine differentiator for agents who want to stand out in a lead's inbox
  • Most affordable entry point in the category at $30/mo, lower than every other tool here except Wise Agent
  • Drip campaigns are dead simple to set up, agents can have automated follow-up running within an hour of signup

Watch-outs

  • G2 rating of 3.4/5 is the second lowest in this list, glitchiness and UX inconsistency are recurring complaints
  • Customer support described as poor by multiple reviewers, some report needing multiple calls to resolve basic issues
  • Product direction is uncertain post Lone Wolf Technologies acquisition, the brand may fold into Lone Wolf Relationships
LionDesk is the budget entry point with a unique trick: video texting. No other CRM in this guide lets you record and send a video message via text from inside the CRM. At $30/mo for the Starter tier, it is also the cheapest option that includes drip campaigns and a power dialer. The catch is reliability. 44 G2 reviews land at 3.4/5, and the recurring theme is ‘great idea, inconsistent execution.’ Lone Wolf Technologies acquired LionDesk, and the product’s long-term roadmap is not clear. For solo agents on a tight budget who want automated follow-up without paying $69+/mo, LionDesk still works. Just know what you are getting.

Best for agents who want simplicity and support

What's great

  • One of the most beginner-friendly real estate CRMs, agents consistently praise the onboarding and simplicity
  • Customer support is genuinely excellent, responsive and helpful, a recurring theme across every review platform
  • $49/mo covers up to 5 users with full features, the best per-agent value in this list for small teams

Watch-outs

  • G2 review count is thin (15 reviews), making the 3.6/5 rating statistically unreliable
  • Contact dashboard feels dated, described by users as "scrolling through an address book" rather than a modern CRM view
  • No IDX website, no built-in ad management, no AI features, it is a CRM and nothing more
Wise Agent is the CRM for agents who want to stop overthinking their tech stack and start managing contacts. At $49/mo for up to 5 users, it covers transaction management, drip campaigns, MLS integration in supported areas, and checklists from contract to close. The interface is not modern. The contact dashboard is basic. But the support team is universally praised, and the onboarding is painless. For a husband-wife team or a 3-agent office that just needs a reliable CRM without the $500/mo platform price tag, Wise Agent is the right answer. Annual billing drops it to $499/year.

Best for teams obsessed with lead quality

What's great

  • CINC manages $30M+ in annual ad spend across its customer base with daily optimizations, a dedicated in-house ad team, not a DIY dashboard
  • CRM automation is genuinely easy to use, agents can set up drip campaigns and lead routing without technical skills
  • Customer support is excellent and timely, consistently praised in reviews

Watch-outs

  • Lead quality complaints are real, bad phone numbers, invalid emails, and occasional spam leads come with the territory of high-volume paid lead gen
  • Starting at ~$900/mo plus mandatory ad spend, CINC is priced for established teams, not new agents
  • Some long-term customers report price increases that were not communicated well in advance
CINC is the platform for teams that want someone else to handle Google and Facebook ad management and just receive leads in their CRM. The in-house team manages over $30M in annual ad spend, with daily bid optimization and audience targeting. The CRM itself is clean and the automation is easy. The trade-off is cost ($900+/mo before ad spend) and lead quality, which is a known issue in high-volume paid lead gen. CINC is not for solo agents or small teams watching every dollar. It is for 10-agent teams that have budget to spend on leads and want the operational overhead handled.

Best IDX website + CRM combo for mid-size teams

What's great

  • IDX website builder with MLS integration, lead capture forms, forced registration, and user activity tracking, the website is the lead gen tool
  • Additional user pricing drops aggressively at scale, $25/user/mo for 2-10 users down to $1/user/mo at 100+
  • Estate IQ property valuation landing pages for seller lead generation, a genuinely useful seller-side tool most competitors lack

Watch-outs

  • Website templates feel dated compared to newer competitors like Sierra Interactive or Chime/Lofty
  • No self-serve free trial, must go through a sales demo to evaluate the product
  • $250 one-time onboarding fee on top of the monthly subscription
Real Geeks pairs an IDX website with a CRM and makes the website do the lead generation work. Forced registration on property searches, behavioral tracking, and listing alerts turn the website into a lead capture machine. 108 G2 reviews average 4.5/5, with ease of use and customer support as the consistent praise. The website templates are not the prettiest in the category, and the design flexibility is limited. But the unit economics work: at scale, additional users cost as little as $1/mo each, making Real Geeks one of the most cost-effective platforms for growing teams.

Best AI-powered platform for tech-forward teams

What's great

  • AI Virtual ISA qualifies leads via text and chat autonomously 24/7, the most advanced AI assistant in this category
  • Ease of use scored 9.0 on G2 versus a category average of 8.3, meaningfully easier to learn than kvCORE or Propertybase
  • 33+ built-in lead generation methods including hyper-local "Lofty Bloom" automation tools

Watch-outs

  • Pricing scales steeply, Core at $499/mo is the entry, Team jumps to $899/mo plus a $1,000 setup fee
  • A 100-agent enterprise deployment can exceed $20,000/mo, which puts it in Salesforce territory
  • No self-serve trial, and the rebrand from Chime to Lofty has left some confusion in the market
Chime (rebranding to Lofty) is the platform for teams that want to lean into AI. The AI Virtual ISA qualifies leads via text conversation without agent intervention, handles English and (claimed) bilingual conversations, and hands off warm leads. The platform bundles IDX websites, CRM, lead gen, power dialer, dynamic CMA presentations, and transaction management. 90 G2 reviews land at 4.5/5 with ease of use as the top signal. Best SEO-optimized IDX websites for organic lead gen

What's great

  • IDX websites built specifically for SEO and AEO (AI engine optimization), designed to rank in Google and get cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews
  • Lead Engage AI assistant maintains 24/7 text-based lead nurture for up to 12 months, including Spanish-language support
  • Website customization and design quality are a step above Real Geeks and BoomTown

Watch-outs

  • G2 review count is too thin to be meaningful (3 reviews), limited independent validation
  • Total cost with Lead Engage ($199/mo add-on), ad management, and annual commitment easily exceeds $1,500/mo
  • Monthly billing adds a $500 setup fee that annual billing waives, a nudge toward longer commitments
Sierra Interactive is the pick for agents and teams who believe organic search is the long game. The IDX websites are purpose-built for SEO, with explicit AI-search-citation positioning (a feature no other CRM in this list markets). Lead Engage, the AI text follow-up tool, nurtures leads for up to 12 months in both English and Spanish. G2 data is too thin (4.7/5 from 3 reviews) to draw conclusions from, but the product reputation in real estate tech circles is strong. At $300/mo for the Starter tier (1 user, annual), it sits in the mid-range. The all-in cost climbs fast once you add Lead Engage and ad management.

Best Salesforce-powered CRM for enterprise brokerages

What's great

  • Built on Salesforce, the only CRM in this list with genuine enterprise CRM depth, custom objects, advanced reporting, and the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Only tool in this guide with documented SOC 2 and GDPR compliance, inherited from the Salesforce platform
  • Integrates with the full Lone Wolf back-office suite, Transactions, Back Office, Cloud CMA, eSignature

Watch-outs

  • Lowest G2 rating in this list at 2.7/5 across 33 reviews, with Ease of Use scoring 5.8/10 and Ease of Setup at 5.5/10
  • Requires Salesforce admin knowledge to configure properly, this is not a self-serve agent tool
  • Customer support is the most common complaint, response times are slow and resolution quality is inconsistent
Propertybase is the Salesforce of real estate CRM, literally. Built on the Salesforce platform, it inherits enterprise-grade security (SOC 2, GDPR), deep customization, and reporting that nothing else in this list can match. The trade-off is brutal: 33 G2 reviews average 2.7/5, the lowest in this guide. Ease of Setup scores 5.5/10. You need a Salesforce admin or consultant to get real value out of it. For a 100-agent brokerage with compliance requirements and the budget for implementation, Propertybase is defensible. For everyone else, Follow Up Boss or kvCORE will serve you better.

What's great

  • Success Assurance is a team of human Lead Concierges who monitor your entire database and engage leads at behavioral triggers, not an AI chatbot, actual people
  • Highest G2 review count in this list at 587 reviews averaging 4.7/5, with 86% five-star ratings
  • Predictive CRM with daily to-do lists and email-engagement tracking keeps agents focused on the right leads

Watch-outs

  • All-in cost commonly reaches $2,500-$3,300+/mo once ad management, MLS pass-through, and add-ons stack up
  • Requires a 12-month annual contract, no month-to-month option
  • Additional costs beyond the initial quote are a recurring complaint, pricing transparency is an issue
BoomTown is the premium play: pay $1,000+/mo and get a done-for-you lead generation engine with human concierges who nurture your database. 587 G2 reviews at 4.7/5 make it the highest-rated and most-reviewed real estate CRM on G2 in this guide. The Success Assurance team monitors lead behavior and engages at the right moment, a service no other tool here offers. The trade-off is cost. Total spend easily hits $2,500-$3,300/mo, and you are locked into 12 months. For established teams with ad budget and a volume-driven business model, BoomTown delivers ROI. For teams watching their spend, Follow Up Boss plus a separate ad manager will cost half.

Tools we considered but excluded

We evaluated more tools than the 10 you see above. These did not make the cut. Saying what we rejected, and why, is the editorial muscle most listicles skip.

  • Realvolve: Small user base and limited G2 coverage, no meaningful signal to rank it against the 10 tools in this guide
  • Top Producer: Legacy brand that has not kept pace with IDX or AI developments, the 2026 product lags behind Follow Up Boss and Real Geeks on every dimension we tested
  • Zurple: Behavioral marketing automation is the single feature, and it does not offer a full CRM, better used as an add-on to a primary CRM than as a standalone
  • Market Leader (by Zillow): Now under Zillow Group, the conflict of interest when evaluating it as an independent CRM is too large to include alongside competitors it now shares a parent with
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud (general): Covered as the engine behind Propertybase, the general Salesforce CRM is not purpose-built for real estate and is better evaluated in our general CRM guide

Honorable mentions

Solid tools that did not crack the main list but are worth tracking, especially for niche use cases.

  • RealScout: Exceptional for buyer's agent teams that want collaborative listing search with clients, the shared search experience is unique in the category
  • Contactually (by Compass): Smart contact bucketing and relationship management, limited to Compass-affiliated agents but the relationship-first approach is worth watching
  • IXACT Contact: At $45/mo with Keep in Touch campaigns and a basic IDX website, it fills the gap between Wise Agent's simplicity and Real Geeks' full platform

The real estate CRM market in 2026

The real estate CRM market does not work like the general SaaS CRM market. In general SaaS, you pick a CRM and bolt on integrations. In real estate, the CRM is usually part of a larger platform that includes IDX websites, lead generation, ad management, and transaction management. That bundling is what makes the decision hard.

Ten tools made this list. They split into three practical categories. Understanding which category you need cuts the decision from ten tools to three.

CRM-only tools. Follow Up Boss and Wise Agent. They manage contacts, automate follow-up, and route leads. They do not build you a website or run your ads. Pair them with a separate IDX provider and ad platform. Lower monthly cost, more flexibility, more tools to manage.

CRM + IDX website combos. Real Geeks, Sierra Interactive, LionDesk (limited). These give you a lead-capture website with MLS integration plus a CRM to manage the leads that come in. Mid-range pricing, less tool sprawl, but the websites vary wildly in quality and SEO capability.

All-in-one platforms. kvCORE, CINC, Chime/Lofty, BoomTown, Propertybase. Everything under one roof: CRM, IDX website, lead gen, ad management, marketing automation, sometimes transaction management. Higher price, less flexibility, but one login and one vendor to deal with.

Consolidation you should know about

Two parent companies own four of the ten tools in this guide. This matters when you are evaluating “competition” that is actually the same company.

Inside Real Estate owns kvCORE (BoldTrail) and BoomTown. Both products are actively maintained under the same parent. kvCORE is the platform play for brokerages that want to self-manage. BoomTown is the done-for-you play for teams that want managed lead gen. Same parent, different positioning.

Lone Wolf Technologies owns LionDesk and Propertybase. LionDesk is being folded into “Lone Wolf Relationships.” Propertybase is becoming “Lone Wolf Front Office.” Both are mid-transition, and the long-term product roadmaps are not fully public.

If vendor independence matters to your brokerage, the six independently owned tools are Follow Up Boss, Wise Agent, CINC, Real Geeks, Chime/Lofty, and Sierra Interactive.

What to test in your real estate CRM trial

Five things separate a good evaluation from a wasted 14 days.

One, import your actual sphere. Take your real contact list, not a demo CSV, and import it with tags, notes, and transaction history. If the import takes more than an hour or loses data, the CRM will fight you every day. Follow Up Boss handles this cleanly. kvCORE takes longer but imports more fields. Wise Agent is the simplest.

Two, set up a drip campaign for a cold lead. The lead came in from Zillow, visited 3 listings, and has not responded to your first call. Build a 30-day drip sequence (text, email, text, email, call reminder). Time how long it takes. If it takes more than 20 minutes, the automation layer is not good enough for volume.

Three, test lead routing with 3 agents. If you are a team, create a round-robin rule and submit 10 test leads. Check that the distribution is actually even, that notifications fire instantly, and that the assigned agent can see the lead’s full history. Follow Up Boss is the gold standard here. CINC and kvCORE handle it at scale.

Four, check the mobile app for one full day. Real estate agents live on their phones. Open the CRM exclusively on mobile for a full workday. Log calls, update deal stages, check your daily task list, send a text to a lead. The mobile experience in this category ranges from excellent (Follow Up Boss, BoomTown) to painful (Propertybase).

Five, ask about the annual contract. BoomTown, CINC, kvCORE, and Sierra Interactive all default to 12-month contracts. Know the exit terms before you sign. LionDesk, Wise Agent, and Follow Up Boss offer month-to-month. The price difference between monthly and annual billing can be 15-20%.

How to choose by team size and budget

The decision tree is shorter than vendors want you to think.

Solo agent, under $100/mo. Wise Agent ($49/mo) or LionDesk ($30/mo). Both cover drip campaigns and basic contact management. Wise Agent has better support. LionDesk has video texting. Pick based on which matters more.

Solo agent or duo, $100-$300/mo, wants IDX. Real Geeks Establish ($249/mo) or Sierra Interactive Starter ($300/mo). Both give you an IDX website plus CRM. Sierra has better SEO. Real Geeks has a simpler setup.

Team of 3-10 agents, $300-$900/mo. Follow Up Boss Pro ($416/mo for 10 users) if you already have lead sources and an IDX website. Real Geeks or Sierra if you need the website too. This is the band where Follow Up Boss’s lead routing starts paying back.

Team of 10-30 agents, budget for lead gen. CINC ($900/mo + ad spend) or BoomTown ($1,000/mo + ad spend) if you want managed lead gen. kvCORE if you want to self-manage. Follow Up Boss Platform ($833/mo for 30 users) if you just need the CRM piece.

Brokerage of 30+ agents. kvCORE (per-agent cost drops below $25 at scale), BoomTown for done-for-you lead gen, or Propertybase if you need Salesforce-grade compliance and reporting.

Pricing transparency across the category

Only three tools in this guide publish full self-serve pricing: Follow Up Boss, LionDesk, and Wise Agent. The rest require a demo, a sales call, or both.

This is a pattern in real estate tech. The platforms that bundle lead gen and ad management (CINC, BoomTown, kvCORE) price based on market, team size, and ad budget, so fixed pricing is genuinely hard to publish. But it also means you will not know the real cost until you are in a sales conversation.

Ask for the total cost including setup fees, ad management fees, MLS pass-through fees, and annual price increases. The base monthly subscription is often 40-60% of the real bill. BoomTown’s $1,000/mo base commonly reaches $2,500-$3,300/mo all-in. kvCORE’s $499/mo solo agent plan does not include the ad spend that makes the platform useful.

The IDX website question

Half the tools in this guide include an IDX website. The other half are CRM-only. This split matters more than any feature comparison.

If you do not have an IDX website today and want one, you are choosing between Real Geeks, Sierra Interactive, kvCORE, Chime/Lofty, BoomTown, and Propertybase. Real Geeks and Sierra Interactive are the most focused on the website piece. kvCORE has the broadest MLS coverage (600+). Chime/Lofty has the best AI layer.

If you already have an IDX website (from your brokerage, from a vendor like iHomefinder or Placester, or you built your own), you need a CRM that integrates with your lead sources. Follow Up Boss is the clear winner here with 200+ integrations. Wise Agent works for smaller operations. Skip the all-in-one platforms, you will pay for a second website you do not use.

If organic search matters to you, Sierra Interactive is investing most visibly in SEO and AEO (AI engine optimization). Their IDX websites are explicitly designed to get cited by AI assistants and rank in traditional search. No other platform in this list markets this positioning.

What’s changing in real estate CRM in 2026

AI follow-up is becoming table stakes. Chime/Lofty’s AI Virtual ISA and Sierra Interactive’s Lead Engage are the leaders. Both qualify leads via text conversation without agent intervention. kvCORE’s behavioral AI adjusts campaigns based on lead activity. By late 2026, expect every platform above $300/mo to ship some form of AI lead qualification.

Consolidation is accelerating. Inside Real Estate acquiring BoomTown, Lone Wolf acquiring LionDesk and Propertybase, Zillow acquiring Market Leader. The number of truly independent real estate CRM vendors is shrinking. This matters for long-term product roadmaps and pricing power.

The MLS landscape is shifting post-NAR settlement. Commission structure changes are rippling through buyer’s agent economics. CRMs that help buyer’s agents demonstrate value (saved search reports, market analysis, CMA tools) will be more important in 2026-2027 than CRMs optimized purely for lead volume.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a real estate CRM actually cost in 2026?

Solo agents pay $30-$79/mo for CRM-only tools (LionDesk, Wise Agent, Follow Up Boss Grow). All-in-one platforms with IDX websites and lead gen run $249-$900+/mo (Real Geeks, CINC, kvCORE). Done-for-you platforms with managed ad spend hit $1,000-$3,300/mo (BoomTown, CINC with ads). The per-agent cost drops at scale, kvCORE can get below $25/agent/mo at 50+ seats.

Do I need an IDX website or just a CRM?

If you generate leads from Zillow, Realtor.com, or referrals, you need a CRM (Follow Up Boss, Wise Agent). If you want to generate leads from your own website with MLS listings and forced registration, you need an IDX website plus CRM (Real Geeks, Sierra Interactive, kvCORE). Most teams above 5 agents end up needing both.

Which real estate CRM is best for a solo agent on a budget?

Wise Agent at $49/mo or LionDesk at $30/mo. Both include drip campaigns, transaction management (LionDesk on Elite only), and enough automation to keep a solo agent organized. Follow Up Boss Grow at $69/mo is the next step up if you need strong lead routing from paid sources.

kvCORE or Follow Up Boss, which one should I pick?

Different tools for different problems. Follow Up Boss is a CRM that routes leads from 200+ sources, it does one thing very well. kvCORE is a full platform (CRM + IDX website + lead gen + marketing). If you already have a website and lead sources, Follow Up Boss. If you want everything in one system and have $500+/mo to spend, kvCORE.

Is AI in real estate CRM worth paying for in 2026?

Chime/Lofty's AI Virtual ISA is the most advanced, it qualifies leads via text without agent intervention. Sierra Interactive's Lead Engage does 24/7 text nurture for up to 12 months. Both add $200-$500/mo to your bill. For teams with high lead volume and slow response times, AI follow-up pays for itself. For teams under 10 agents who can respond within 5 minutes, skip it.
